Most times we only eat Tandoori Chicken in restaurants and hardly make it at home. Here's how it can be done at home:
Ingredients:
1 Whole Chicken
200 GMS Curd
2 Tsbp Red Chilli Powder
1 Tsp Ginger and Garlic Paste
1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt to taste
Charcoal
Oil
Method:
1) Clean the chicken and place it in a bowl
2) Add in curd
3) Then red chilli powder, ginger and garlic paste
4) Add the ginger and garlic paste
5) Also the turmeric powder
6) Mix it well and let it rest for 30 minutes
7)On the pan, add 2 Tbsp of oil
8)1 Tbsp of butter
9)Once you see the oil and butter sizzle place the chicken in the pan, one by one.
10)Cook for 10-12 minutes
11) Heat the charcoal on the stove
12) Place it in a small container and put in the roasted chicken
13) Sprinkle oil on the charcoal
14) Cover the container for 1and 1/2 minutes
15) Remove the charcoal container
16) Tandoori Chicken is ready to serve
Garnish it with lemon, onion and parsley!
