Get ready for upcoming Tamil film, Sandakari starring a Malaysian personality, Gheetha Ammasee, also fondly known as Punnagai Poo Gheetha. Sandakari will feature Shriya Saran with a comeback to the movie scenes alongside Gheetha in the film, which is a remake of the popular Sandra Bullock film, The Proposal. The film, directed by R Madhesh, also stars Vemal as the lead actor alongside Prabhu, Sai Kumar, Rekha and KR Vijaya.

Geetha made her mark in the Tamil industry through her studio, SG Films when she released her first movie, Arinthum Ariyamalum which became a box office hit in India. However, her success was not without many struggles when she first approached the Tamil film industry, that refused to support a female producer, and with an extra hurdle of being a foreigner.

Following that success, she went on to fund Kundakka Mandakka, a comedy film as well as Pattiyal which added on to her financial success. Started off as a host on NT7 and now having a career at Raaga, she has also been doubling up as an actress starring in various Tamil films in India including Oru Nadigaiyin Vaakkumoolam, Kaaval, Sangu Chakkaram and Maindhan.

There is a lot to look forward to in this film, with an opportunity for Shriya Saran to make a comeback as a lead actress in Sandakari. The film is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2020, which is not too far away!
