Venkat Prabhu’s multifaceted talent has his next movie, Maanaadu, being the talk of the town. Starring Simbu and Kalyani Priyadarshan in lead, the preparation for the roles has Simbu undergoing rigorous physical training in London. Talk about dedication!

Venkat’s other film, RK Nagar, has been delayed for quite some time. The flick features Vaibhav, Inigo Prabhakaran and Sana Althaf, Anjena Kirti in the lead roles and Sampath Raj in a supporting role.

Dubbed a political-comedy, the film was supposed to release on April 12, prior to the Lok Sabha elections of Tamil Nadu. However, its release was pushed to a later date due to unavoidable reasons. Word on the street is the makers have finally decided to release the film come June 7, however fans are still awaiting the official announcement.

With Premgi Amaren helming the music for this movie and Gopi Amarnath behind the camera, fans can definitely anticipate a comedically colourful masterpiece. What’s even more interesting is that this comedy has political elements. How does one tie those two factors together? Curious?
