Vijay Sethupathi has been patiently awaiting the release of his film, Sindhubaadh, and the world has been waiting with him. Word on the street is that our wait has finally come to an end! Helmed by S.U.Arunkumar, the movie will see its musical components orchestrated by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Bank-rolled by Vansan Movies along with K Productions, the movie is also set to see Anjali starring in female lead.

With the movie’s trailer and singles circulating the Internet since March, the anticipation and excitement for Sindhubaadh has seen quite a build up over the last three months. Having been well received by fans and critiques alike, the Internet has been eagerly awaiting the announcement of the film’s release date.

A little birdie recently spilled that the makers have finally decided on the release date for Sindhubaadh and the film is set to grace the silver screen come June 21. Fans of VJS are going wild over this movie, as VJS would be acting alongside his son, playing the role of thieves. He was last seen carrying such a role in Vikram Vedha. 

This comes after the release of the film, which was originally scheduled for May 16, was held up due to a court stay imposed by the Telangana High Court following a monetary debacle between Arka Media and the owner of K Productions.

This will be Vijay Sethupathi’s third release for 2019, following Blockbuster Petta where he shared the screen with Superstar Rajinikanth and Super Deluxe, directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja, where he plays the role of a transgender.
