A major accident that occurred at ‘Indian 2’ set has led to 3 dead, and others were wounded — among them Director Shankar, suffering fractures on his legs. The incident happened around 9.30pm and Kamal Hassan, who managed to escape, made arrangements for the injured to rush to Savitha hospital immediately.
Kamal Hassan and Kajal Aggarwal shoot has been going on full swing at the EVP Studios near Poonamallee, Chennai. Reports claimed that a heavy light which was deposited on a 150 feet crane crashed onto a tent where Director Shankar and his assistants were sitting and monitoring the scenes.
Sources have informed us that Shankar's personal Assistant, Madhu (29), Assistant Director, Krishna (34) and Chandran (60) belonging to the catering department are the deceased.
