Kavitha Thiagarajan, who is predominantly known for her amazing contribution television series, advertisements and movies in Malaysia.

Kavitha started her career in creative industry at a very young age right after she completed her schooling at the age of 17. She began as a background dancer for a dance troop popular in the 90s in Kuala Lumpur. Since then, she have performed in various stage programmes, TV shows as dancer, hosted myriad of TV shows, and acted in lead roles in many local dramas, telemovies, and feature films. Her recent projects were Kaathal Mathiri and Maaya Regai which is exclusively premiering on Astro Vinmeen now.

Kavitha choose her roles carefully for each of my project as her ultimate priority is only to do roles that has a significant importance in the overall storyline. In addition to that, it is also noted that she works with the maker who give her full freedom and could offer her roles that allow me to demonstrate my full potential. For instance, her role as ‘Sayuri’, the antagonist in ‘Maaya Regai’ series which is currently on Astro Vinmeen. She mentioned in a recent interview that the role was unique and challenging for her. It allowed her to explore her full potential as an antagonist. The role is so different from all her past projects and it gave a new outlook to Kavitha Thiagarajan as a whole since audience has always seen me in roles whereby, she always portrayed as a very softspoken, bubbly, introvert personality.
