Born Kunalan Kunaselan, the future icon grew a passion for hairstyling at the tender age of 15 back in 1985. He enhanced his skills gradually until he joined the famous Malaysian academy Thomas & Guys in Bukit Bintang Kuala Lumpur. 

Mista G is Our Malaysian Star of the Month! 

While pursuing styling, Kunaselan’s alter ego, Mista G, ventured into the music industry in 1985, and with a local tamil language band ‘Super Venus’ in 1988. 

Mista G’s biggest break came by leading the iconic music group ‘Lock Up’ in 1995 which has recorded 10 albums until 2005. Mista G being one of the founding members of ‘Lock Up’, has deliver incredible songs that are still celebrated by fans till date. Mista G also holds the band very special to his heart. 

One of his most iconic collaborations is 2006’s “Madai Thiranthu”, a track that has been an iconic reference for the local music industry. 

After focusing on his passion for hairstyling, Mista G returned by embarking on a solo career as a solo artist till the present day while juggling his entrepreneurship efforts by opening his own saloon; G’Passionz located at Bangsar Utama 

Mista G was last featured on “Pollathavan”, which is now trending on Youtube. The “Pollathavan” music video carries a beautiful vibe that fans can't get enough of that it's on repeat mode.  Mista G carries the entire song with his soothing vocals and unique style. Along with Mista G the song features Amigos Appu and Dev Iwad.
