Making tiny adjustments can make your New Year 2020 ten times better. Our mornings have been really hectic- like getting trapped in bad jams, running late for work, sending kids to school, waking up early for school and burning the midnight oil until morning preparing for exams or finishing up work.

1. Morning prayers / meditation

Nothing is better than starting your day with a prayer, or some light meditation. Visit any nearest place of worship / safe space with your loved ones to kick-start your morning.
2. Yoga

Maybe you can get your loved ones to do Yoga together. Commence your New Year morning with Yoga because it helps to boost metabolism, you will be more toned up and make your body energized to run the rest of your day actively. All you have to do is put on some soothing music, dim the lights, light up candles, and enjoy some stretching.
3. Sun gazing

Empower yourself with the healing powers of the Sun. After all, the Sun is a free source of energy so why not absorb some?
4. Throw away unnecessary things at home

It’s a whole New Year so we don’t see the point of keeping things you don't need at home. Throw, or donate, whatever you think you don’t need. This could save up you some space as well!
5. Cook something elaborate

Try cooking a dish, which you always wanted to make. Not only that, it’s a great way to put everyone under the same roof by saying “food is served”!
