We Know You Have Some Unused CDs, And This Is What You Can Do With It

It's worth the effort...

Compact Discs (CDs), once a pinnacle of technology for storage and music, is dying (or should we say dead?) in terms of it's usage these days. Yes, maybe there is still use for it for certain purposes but it's 2016 now! So for those who have unused amounts of it, you might as well try this as a form of recycling.

All you need is some CDs, acrylic paint, screwdriver, paint brush and a pencil.

Be tidy and put the CD on a newspaper. Begin painting it!

And this is how it should look like...

Once it's all dried up, you can start flowing your creative juices by using the pencil and draw artistic designs to it. If you made any mistakes, don't worry because the pencil lines are light.

Now for the fun part, remember the screwdriver? Now use it to carve the paint off the CD around the pencil lines you have drawn.

The result? This is how it looks like.

Next step, place them on your walls like a chain of few CDs lined up. This is just an example.

Few examples of design you might want to try out

Told you it was worth the effort. And saves the environment too!
