Mute the audio of a horror movie and watch it. Does it still feel as scary as when the audio is on?
We can all agree that horror movies are scarier only with the right sound effect. Most would assume the sound effect is made using string instruments like violin. Little did we know that it's these sound effects are produced using a newly created instrument -- the waterphone:
The waterphone was created by Richard Waters, inspired by the Tibetan water drum. It's created solely by Waters and a single unit can cost up to USD1,700.
