Lingusamy, the director of Run, Paiyaa, and Sandakozhi has just shared that his upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual movie The Warrior, starring Ram Pothineni, will be a unique cop film. 

"It's based on a true story, but I made it in the commercial cinema format, I would say this is one of my best works," he said.

He claims that the intention was always to make this film in Tamil and Telugu. 

"It worked out great for us because Ram, too, wanted to make his Tamil debut." 

The director shared that he didn't feel any different shooting a film in another language because he has shot many of his films in Hyderabad. "After all, cinema is a universal language."

Adding on, Lingusamy shared: “I have worked on this film wholeheartedly in the same way I worked on Run and Sandakozhi. I loved watching the completed film, and I’m sure audiences, too, will enjoy it on the big screen.”
