While there were over 125 participants from all over the world, Khatheni Puspanathan, Abirami Segarran and Rishmah Thuraisamy were the only three who represented Malaysia.

Khatheni Puspanathan, Abirami Segarran and Rishmah Thuraisamy  danced 50 Jathis back-to-back without a break for 2 hours non-stop for the Asia Book of records and India Book of records.

They were awarded ‘The Maximum Number of Participants Performing Bharathanatyam Jathis on A Virtual Platform’ on January 31st 2021 by India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records.

The trio continued to shine in the world of bharatham and  created a new record of attempting 60 Jathis on 18th April 2021 and were awarded ‘The Most People in An Online Video Relay Performing a Choreographed Dance’ by The Guinness World Book of Records.

Congratulations Khatheni, Rishmah and Abirami! We hope to see more amazing things from you too!
