Three-time Olympic silver medalist Dato' Lee Chong Wei may continue to be Malaysia's representative in the men's single badminton for the next Olympics.

Chong Wei said that he might compete in the Tokyo Olympics if the Badminton World Federation changes the format to the old 11-point best of five, instead of the current 21-point best of three.

The national shuttler said that shorter matches will be more suitable for senior players like him and Lin Dan to continue playing.

Olympics aside, Chong Wei did say that he's good to compete in the next Thomas Cup, which will be in 2018.
