Kabbadi is a form of contact sports originated from ancient India. Known as various name forms such as "Hadudu in Bangladesh", "Bhavatik in Maldives"," Chedugudu in Andra" , "Sadugudu in Tamil" and "Jai Bhavani in Maharashtra". In Malaysia it's known as Kabbadi, started being famous after the year 2010. Where the first Kabbadi Tournament was introduced. When they first played Kabbadi, it was played on
rough field, but now they play it indoors on mats.
The game play:
1) Two team will be on two sides of the court, each time will send one rider to get into the other half of the court. To win one point, the "RAIDER" will have to hold his/her breath, run into the opposite half, tag one of the members from the opposing team, then return home to his/her half.
In line with the National Sports Day, which will be officially launched this 8th October, Kabbadi is part of the agenda. This would be the second year Kabbadi is being introduced.
