Flu season is back so make sure to wear your mask and stay hydrated for the time being because the Influenza A outbreak has proliferated in Klang and Selangor, reported by Selangor Health Department (JKNS). It was reported that 22 people in Cyberjaya and Klang Valley tested positive for the virus yesterday, 9th January 2020.

Apparently, people infected in Cyberjaya were critical and could be treated, and were allowed to head home after. 20 people in total from Sekolah Kebangsaan Cyberjaya suffered from symptoms like flu, cough and fever. Meanwhile, one was hospitalized at Klang, but is in stable condition.

Influenza A is highly contagious and in order to prevent from getting infected, we each need to vigilant. Be sure to have your mask on always and drink enough water. Don’t forget to maintain personal hygiene at all times.
