Here is a little something to kickstart your year, and it’s the much needed BSH Living Assistance fund as promised in the Budget 2020 from the government. The purpose of the fund is to provide financial assistance to households across the country that fall within the B40 group.
Household that have a accumulated income of less than RM4000 can now apply anywhere ranging from RM500 to RM1000 depending on your income bracket. Even parents with children 18 and below will be given RM120 for each child.
If you are still single and over 40, you are not only an eligible bachelor, but eligible for RM300 from the fund! The same goes for the OKU group, or physically disabled and both the groups will also be able to apply for the free MySalam Takaful Scheme.

If you are unsure on how to apply and require more details, there is more information in the MyBSH website. If you have already applied for the BSH in 2019, then you would not need to register again.
A total of 4.2 billion have been allocated by the government for the BSH Living Assistance fund, and the payments will be carried out in three phases throughout the year.
