With the announcement of RMCO many sports were given the green light to resume as usual, however contact sports were put on hold to avoid the COVID-19 virus from spreading.
Many futsal lovers are hoping to put their boots back to use soon.
With the announcement by the Defense Minister Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri in a press meet, Malaysians will be allowed to take part in contact sports starting 15th July.
Futsal courts and other sporting facilities will be allowed to re-open from 15th July onwards, however these facilities are to follow the standard operating procedures such as temperature checks, entry registration and monitoring the number of people inside the facilities at all times.
However, tournaments will be allowed starting 15th August .
