Director Lokesh Kanagaraj is in the process of putting together a dream team for the much anticipated movie Vikram. The film was announced in the beginning of 2020 with Kamal Haasan in the lead role. 

Earlier it was reported that Fahadh Faasil confirmed that he has accepted a key role in Vikram, and he’s excited about joining the shoot. Now, latest reports suggest that Kanagaraj has convinced Vijay Sethupathi to join the cast of Vikram as well. And it seems Vijay Sethupathi was eager to join the cast. It's worth mentioning that Vijay Sethupathi was earlier casted in Kamal’s India 2 but couldn't accept the role due to commitment issues. 

Fans are hyped to catch Vijay Sethupathi and Kamal to be on the same screen for the first time. Vikram will be Kanagaraj’s second consecutive film with Sethupathi. The duo had earlier worked in Master, which became a huge hit at the box office when it released in January this year.
