READ:What You Should Know About Thaipusam
1. DO NOT LITTER
Utilize the garbage bins and keep our temple grounds clean. And also, Clean Thaipusam’s booth is located below MRR2 flyover. Why not consider volunteering yourself?
2. TAKE PUBLIC TRANSPORT
We are aware of the jam that will occur every year for Thaipusam so don’t drive. Take the train instead. In this case, you can reach Batu Caves faster and so much easier.
3. MAKE SURE TO WEAR TRADITIONAL CLOTHES
It can be any traditional clothes as long they look appropriate. Devotees wear yellow and orange, colors significant to Lord Murugan. You can consider wearing those colors.
4. DON’T BLOCK THE DEVOTEE’S WAY
It’s okay to take pictures of the surroundings but do not block the devotee’s way. Try not to shove the camera lenses directly to the devotee’s faces.
5. PREPARE YOUR CHILDREN FOR EMERGENCIES
Keep an eye on your children always and talk to them beforehand on what to do if they get separated.
Have a devotional and safe Thaipusam because RAAGA cares.
