Guiness World Record have recently given official recognition to Escape Theme Park, Telok Bahang Penang for having the longest water slide in the world!

The water slide measuring the length of 1,111 metres, breaks the previous world record of a water slide in Germany that is as long as 356 metres! That is a one-kilometer water slide ride guys!

The attraction is expected to open to the public by the end of October. We are definitely excited for this. However, being prudent Malaysians, we think it would be best to probably visit the slide sometime next year once the crowds have thinned a little.

Visiting or not, this is definitely a reason to proudly tell our foreign friends where home is.
