Thug Life is one of the most anticipated projects of 2024 as it marks the reunion of the ace filmmaker, Director Manirathnam with Ulaganayagan Kamalhaasan after 35 years since Nayagan release. The project also continued to become talk of the town as the cast and crew being announced back to back prior to the production. The first glimpse of the project featuring Kamalhaasan as well as announcing the title of this project as Thug Life (previously KH234) created a huge hype among the fans.
Principal photography commenced in January 2024. It is currently being shot sporadically in several legs, with filming locations including Chennai and New Delhi. The film has music composed by A. R. Rahman, cinematography handled by Ravi K. Chandran and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. Recently, there was a rumuor that Silambarasan TR also a part of the cast. It created a huge expectation among the fans of both Kamalhaasan and STR as it marks as the first collaboration. A picture featuring both actors were also became viral on social media.
Now, in the latest update, the makers have officially unveiled the dynamic avatar of STR and introduced him as a ‘New Thug in Town’.
The makers of Thug Life took to their social media platform and shared the first-look poster of Silambarasan TR from the upcoming thriller and wrote, “In the Realms of Dust, A New Thug Arises! STR makes his Mark.”
Soon after the post surfaced online, fans took to their comments section and shared their excitement about STR’s entry in the Kamal Haasan starrer.
