Superstar Rajinikanth is such a powerhouse name. Everyone knows him for starring in hit movies back to back. Even now, at the age of 70, he’s still kicking bad guys’ butts in action-packed films.
The reason why he’s so adored by fans is simply because he brings charisma and uniqueness to each of the characters he played. He has delivered epic one-liners and created fascinating moves which no other actors could have pulled off.
Who could forget the scene in Kaala where he inspired thousands of people from his neighbourhood to stand up and fight against the people trying to destroy their homes. Or even the way he puts on his sunglasses in Petta.
To celebrate his 70th birthday this year, which falls on 12 December, Dairy Champ is inviting every fan to join in on the #RajiniTarikChallenge. All you have to do is make a cup of teh tarik in one of Rajinikanth’s style you’re most confident in and post it onto Instagram with the hashtags #RajiniTarikChallenge and #DairyChampMY.
The more unique your video is, the higher the chances of you winning RM1,000 in cash and a hamper worth RM50 sponsored by Dairy Champ. There’ll be three lucky winners taking home this grand prize while ten others will get a consolation prize of RM300 and the same hamper.
And if you need some help making teh tarik for the challenge, here’s an easy recipe to follow:
Ingredients:
- 1 bag of your favourite black tea
- 2 teaspoons of Dairy Champ Sweetened Creamer
- 250 ml of water
Steps to prepare:
- In a kettle or pot, bring 250 ml water to a boil, then leave to cool for a few minutes.
- Place teabag in a mug or metal cup and add water.
- Let stand for 10-15 minutes before removing the teabag.
- Add in 2 teaspoons of Dairy Champ Sweetened Creamer.
- Carefully pour the drink back and forth from the height of an arm’s length to create a thick froth. (You can start at shorter lengths and slowly pour at longer lengths)
