The next time someone tells you that you can’t do something, this story of young Malaysian living with cerebral palsy earning an income for himself by selling clothes through Facebook Live.
In a time when people are always looking for the easy way, this young man took the hard way to earn him self. While this premise of starting an online business may be a pretty nonchalant and relatively easy decision to make for most of us, this young man has to face the challenges that come with his condition. As many of us are unaware, cerebral palsy is defined as “a group of disorders that affect movement and muscle tone or posture”.
The special entrepreneur, who goes by the name of Dale, operates his own Facebook page called Scarpe Negozio MY, and often hosts Facebook Live broadcasts where he sells a variety of items, primarily foot ware and socks. Dale sometimes face difficulties in speech, he explains to his customers about his physical disabilities and tells them the best way to reach him is over text as they could get a better picture if they have failed to understand him during his FB live.
Despite everything Dale is continuing get enthusiastic support for Dale’s business from customers, the recent surge in business due to his popularity has him even running low on stock and had to make a second trip to get more!
Malaysians always have supported one another in a time of need, because that’s the Malaysian way!
