National badminton player S. Kisona has won another title after a two-year drought, at the Spanish International Challenge.
The 23-year-old made her way to the finals in an all-Malaysian final against Goh Jin Wei, powering to a 21-14, 21-19 win at the Camilo Cano Sports Centre in Alicante.
This is Kisona’s second win against two-time world junior champion Jin Wei, in an international tournament.
Previously she beat Jin Wei three years ago in the second round of the Thailand Masters.
Kisona was not the only winner in Spain, as Jin Wei was praised for her outstanding performance throughout the week, especially after her colectomy surgery in 2019.
