As the Tamil proverb goes “Thai piranthal vazhi pirakkum“. With the beginning of month of Thai it may bring new opportunities. We at RAAGA celebrated the beautiful harvest celebration while embracing the new norm at RAAGA’vin Pongal Kondattam,  with hopes of a brighter future for all!  

With the current pandemic, all Hindus are requested to celebrate the Pongal festival in their own homes — given that large public celebrations of Pongal are to be avoided this year. In effort to keep the spirit and tradition of Pongal celebrations alive, we at RAAGA decided to gather our listeners virtually for a celebration via ZOOM!

Amazing moments were share among our announcers and those who had participated at during the live event.
