The Global Indian Festival is back again, and it’s happening now at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre! This time, you can expect superstar performances, great shopping deals, and lots of fun for the whole family.

Here are some things you can do at this year’s festival:
#1 Say hi to Yashika from Bigg Boss

You’ll get the chance to meet and greet Yashika Annaand, the Bigg Boss contestant who came in fifth in the reality show. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance so be sure not to miss it!

#2 Meet the teams behind Poochandi and Pulanaivu

Poochandi, a local thriller film directed by JK Wicky, will be officially launched at the festival. Be sure to attend so you can meet the cast and crew!

The team from the highly-anticipated local movie Pulanaivu will also be making an appearance at the Global Indian Festival. The movie was directed and written by local power couple, Shalini Balasundaram and Sathish Natarajan, who will both be present at the meet and greet.

#3 Watch the colourful dance performances

Local dance troupes, the KL Mazhai Dancers and Fusion Dancers, will be performing throughout the festival. Catch them in action during the #ATVlive4u segments, the Dance Showcase, and the vibrant Parades of India show.

#4 Cheer for your favourite team at the Kids Dance Competition

You’ll be amazed at how talented these young Malaysians are. Come cheer for the next dancing superstars at the Kids Dance Competition!

#5 Join the colouring contest and win a PS4

Register your children for the Kids Colouring Contest at the festival and they might have the chance to bring home a PS4 or Instax Mini Camera!

#6 Get some wedding ideas at the Fashion Show

Those planning to tie the knot soon will be happy to know that there’ll be a bridal fashion show happening during the festival, presented by the Sivathi Bridal Henna Academy.

#7 Go on a shopping spree

We were told that there are close to 300 booths selling everything from food to clothing at the festival. All products are high quality items sourced from various parts of India, so seize this chance to satisfy your shopping needs!
