The first look of Bigg Boss-fame Mugen Rao's upcoming film Velan was released recently.
The Malaysian singer and actor previously revealed that he has signed three Tamil movies after winning Season 3 of the reality television programme Bigg Boss last year.
The first look of Mugen Rao’s Velan, features the actor and the female lead Meenakshi Govindarajan sitting together in a traditional home set-up. It is said that Mugen will be seen in two looks in the film, one as a high-school student and the other as a college student.
The film also stars Soori, Prabhu, Thambi Ramaiah and Hareesh Peradi in important roles. Prabhu plays the role of Mugen's father and the film also delves into their relationship. Both Prabhu and Mugen bonded really well on set and Prabhu even gave him plenty of pointers.
The director of the film says that Mugen has performed really well in the film, even though this is his debut film, Mugen has done a great job, balancing the emotions.
