It has been reported that Fahadh Faasil will play the antagonist in Kamal Haasan's Vikram, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.  An official confirmation is expected soon.

The film’s title was announced with a special teaser on Kamal Haasan's 66th birthday, and Ulaganayagan appears in a different style. The recent update is that the popular Malayalam actor Fahad Fazil has been roped in to play the antagonist against Kamal Haasan in the film. He is reportedly playing a politician in the film.

Earlier, fans expected Vijay Sethupathi to play as the antagonist against Kamal Haasan in 'Vikram' since the duo dropped to work together in 'Indian 2'. But now again the much-expected duo is going to disappoint audience expectations because the makers have roped in versatile actor Fahad Fazil for the villain role. Fahad Fazil earlier played as an antagonist in Sivakarthikeyan's 'Velaikkaran' in Tamil.

The production of Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' is set to begin soon, and the makers are reportedly finalizing the star cast. Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring the music, and the film is produced by Kamal Haasan himself.
