Actor Fahadh Faasil has confirmed that he will be a part of Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film, Vikram.
Speaking to the media about his latest film Joji, he revealed that “he was excited” to work on the project with Kamal.
Earlier, fans expected Vijay Sethupathi to play as the antagonist against Kamal Haasan in 'Vikram' since the duo worked together in 'Indian 2'. But again, the much-anticipated duo is going to disappoint audience expectations because the makers have roped in versatile actor Fahadh Faasil for the villain role. Fahadh Faasil earlier played as an antagonist in Sivakarthikeyan's 'Velaikkaran' in Tamil.
Vikram is Lokesh Kanagaraj’s fourth directorial after Managaram, Kaithi and this year’s blockbuster Master. Lokesh has taken the title from Kamal’s 1986 actioner of the same name. It is speculated that this movie could be a spin-off featuring the RAW agent, who stopped a missile attack over 25 years ago.
The production of Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' is set to begin soon, and the makers are reportedly finalizing the star cast. Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring the music, and the film is produced by Kamal Haasan himself.
