Popular actor Pandu, known for his roles as a comedian in numerous films, passed away today (May 6th).
Pandu and his wife Kumudha had recently tested positive for COVID-19 and were getting treatment at a hospital in Chennai, India. He was 74 at the time of his passing.
Pandu breathed his last without responding to treatment, while his wife continues to be in the ICU.
The late actor debuted in films through the Tamil film 'Karaiyelllam Shenmabagapoo', and later acted alongside superstars like Rajinikanth, Vijay, Ajith, and many others.
Pandu is well-known for his cameo role in 'Kadhal Kottai' and as a police officer in 'Ghilli'.
He was last seen in 'Indha Nilai Maarum', which had Ashwin Kumar, Ramkumar and Nivedhithaa Sathish in the lead roles.
Pandu leaves behind his wife and three sons.
His memories live on in the hearts of his fans and their laughter. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones. Rest in peace, sir.
