As Pi Patel from the Life of Pi said, “I suppose in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go, but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye.”

The Bollywood world is feeling heavy today, having to mourn and say goodbye to the famous actor, Irrfan Khan whilst stuck in their homes.

The lead character from Life of Pi, Irrfan Khan had just passed away following a colon infection and a neuroendocrine tumour, and the fact that his fellow co-stars cannot show him their final respect makes it all more heartbreaking.

In 2018, Irrfan announced that he’d been diagnosed with a brain tumour and days before he passed away, he was under observation for a colon infection. The actor’s representative said that he had fought a good fight and that his determination to stay positive despite it all had inspired many people.

The news was shared on Twitter by filmmaker, Shoojit Sircar.

Born to Muslim parents, the eldest of three siblings made his debut in the acting career way back in 1988, in the movie Salaam Bombay. Irrfan got his big break in the movie, The Warrior, after which he gave the cinema world numerous epic movies through his outstanding acting skills.

His famous English movies include Jurassic World, Life of Pi, Inferno and Slumdog Millionaire.

Prior to his final movie, Angrezi Medium, the actor had shared an empowering video message for his fans, stating that staying positive was the only choice he had. Well, that’s the only choice we all have as well, to get through life and its trials.

Bollywood stars are mourning for the loss via their social media.

He will forever live through his movies his wonderful dialogues. To know that at least his suffering has ended is a little bit of consolation for now.
