Some parts in Southeast Australia has been hit by deadly bushfires, and was claimed as of the worst incidents ever on record by Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons from the New South Wales firefighting government agency. Countless lives of animals were lost and hundreds of thousands of people were forced out of their home when the bushfire struck their towns and homes.

According to the Insider, an estimate of half a billion animals were affected or believed to be dead, and more than 14 million acres of land has been lost to the unforgiving flames, and the area affected was so large that it could be seen from satellites in space.

Weather conditions are expected to worsen in the coming week, and the Australia Defence Force has deployed more than 3000 army reserve forces to aid with evacuation and fighting the bushfires.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail says that Malaysia is ready to assist Australia in combating the bushfire crisis, and said in her Facebook “Our prayers are with the people of Australia during this difficult period”.
