Many foreign nationals were quarantined in China recently due to the Wuhan virus, now officially known as Covid-19, and 645 Indians who were evacuated from Wuhan tested negative for the virus.
As of February 5, there were 138,750 passengers from 1,265 flights said to be screened for the virus. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has also tested 510 samples which all except three turned out positive for the virus.
The Indian ministry said that they can consider evacuating the Pakistani students from the Hubei province which was hit by Covid-19 and “if such a situation arises” and resources are available.
Seek medical attention if you have the symptoms of the Covid-19, and advise others to do so as well. Prevention is better before the symptoms get worse and to avoid further spreading of the virus.
