Director A. Sarkunam selected Ghibran to compose the soundtrack for Vaagai Sooda Vaa in 2011, and that was the start of an incredible music journey. Since his film debut, Ghibran had made sure to deliver masterpieces that will rule our playlists for years to come.
Ghibran had developed an interest in music after he had seen Yanni perform on TV, when when he was 8. He enrolled into music college, but dropped out and attended keyboard classes and learnt keyboard part-time from Paul Augustine. He completed the RSA Grade 8 in both piano and music theory through Trinity College London, and obtained a degree in classical composition and film scoring under Australian Composer Lindsay Vickery.
After years of struggle, he reached the incredible heights that we see today.
