Director A. Sarkunam selected Ghibran to compose the soundtrack for Vaagai Sooda Vaa in 2011, and that was the start of an incredible music journey. Since his film debut, Ghibran had made sure to deliver masterpieces that will rule our playlists for years to come.

Ghibran had developed an interest in music after he had seen Yanni perform on TV, when when he was 8. He enrolled into music college, but dropped out and attended keyboard classes and learnt keyboard part-time from Paul Augustine. He completed the RSA Grade 8 in both piano and music theory through Trinity College London, and obtained a degree in classical composition and film scoring under Australian Composer Lindsay Vickery.

After years of struggle, he reached the incredible heights that we see today.

3 of m.ghibran’s best !

Here are 3 must hear songs by Ghibran

1. Ghibran's All About Love

The latest composition by Ghibran. While warming up your entire heart, the piece also brings to life the idea that when you are truly in love with someone, you can see only beauty in anything and everything in that person.

2. Kuru Kuru

A fresh beat from 2013’s Vathikuchi, sung by Sundar Narayana Rao. The song expresses the moments of ones falling in love. The emotions are captured beautifully by the lyricist expressing the struggle the heart feels waiting to catch a glimpse of the loved one.

3. Sara Sara Saara Kathu

A track from Ghibran’s 2011 debut Vaagai Sooda Vaa, sung by Chinmayi, it expressed the emotions of falling in love from female perspective. The beautiful composition was revolutionary work of its time — the perfect blend of western and Indian music were in perfect harmony.

These are our top 3 picks, did we miss your favorite by Ghibran?
