All of us are given 24 hours in a day. From sunrise to sunset and all those hours between dusk and dawn, we are the captain of our ship and the master of our fates. Here are some tips and tricks that you can adapt into your lifestyle to make the most out of your 24 hours!
1. Plan out a rough schedule.
If you are a student or a working adult, you most probably would have somewhat of a routine that you keep to. All you have to do is fit your routine into time slots and do your best to keep to them.
2. Wake up early.
When you wake up early, you certainly feel like you have more hours in your day! You are going to feel the fuel running out by midday anyway. So wake up early to make the most of your day!
3. Allocate an hour for me time.
In the midst of everything that you need to get to, chaos can feel like it it impending and me time can sound like a fairytale. But if you can spend hours browsing the internet, you surely can make one hour to do something to upgrade yourself or just plainly pamper yourself.
4. Cut down the time you spend browsing the internet.
You tell yourself 10 minutes, before you know it 4 hours has passed. So be mindful of the amount of time you spend online.
5. Prepare your meals in advance
It is hard to eat healthy if you are eating outside. Preparing a good meal for yourself everyday can take abit of time. So cheat time and prepare your meals for the week in advance!
6. Schedule your chores through out the week
It can be quite crazy having to get to your chores everyday, especially if you are working or studying. So plan your chores out throughout the week and you will find yourself having more time on your hands on the daily.
7. Don’t overcrowd your plate.
Only say yes to commitments you can fulfil. It can be tempting to push yourself to the limit and say yes to everything. But if you want to deliver a job well done focus only on what you can handle and do it well!
8. Master the art of multitasking.
Some tasks that we do so often become a part of our subconcious activity. If we can learn to perform these tasks without much thought, we can focus better when we do other tasks of more importance.
9. Set daily goals and work towards them
There is only so much you can get done in a day. Set daily goals and works towards achiving them. Life is about living one day at a time.
10. 15-minute Nap
Waking up early and doing a lot can cause your battery to run low sometimes even before midday. When you need to, get a 15 minute nap. You’ll feel recharged and will be able to do so much more with the rest of the time in your hands.
