Vettel signs for Aston Martin

Sep 10, 2020

Ferrari F1 driver Sebastian Vettel has signed a contract with Racing Point, which will be rebranded as Aston Martin from next year.

There are no details about the deal, but the team says the 4-time world champion will race for "2021 and beyond".

Vettel will take the place of Sergio Perez.

Auba agrees new deal

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly agreed a new Arsenal contract.

It's believed that the Gunners skipper will sign a 3-year deal, that will make him the club's best-paid player.

The Gabon international had entered the final 12 months of his previous contract, and extending the deal was one of boss Mikel Arteta's top priorities for this summer.

David Luiz in doubt for Arsenal's opener

Arsenal could be without defender David Luiz in their season-opening EPL match at Fulham this Saturday.

This is after the Brazilian reportedly suffered a neck injury in training, and his condition is being carefully monitored.

The injury also means that Arsenal may delay Rob Holding's proposed loan move to Newcastle.
