Atletico Madrid have made the quarterfinals of the Champions League in spectacular fashion, knocking holders Liverpool out in the second-leg of their last-16 clash at Anfield this morning.

The Spanish club fought back from two goals down...scoring three in extra-time to win 3-2 this morning and complete a 4-2 aggregate victory.

The defeat, coupled with their recent loss in the FA Cup...ends Liverpool's hopes of finishing the season with multiple trophies.
However, Jurgen Klopp's side are almost certain to win the Premier League title - their first in 30 years.
Another Champions League tie saw PSG overturn their first leg defeat to Borussia Dortmund...beating the German side 2-nil this morning and 3-2 on aggregate.
Juve player tests positive
Juventus have confirmed that defender Daniele Rugani has tested positive for Covid-19 - the first high-profile athlete to be infected with the coronavirus.

Efforts are now being taken to identify and isolate other players who may have come into contact with him.
Covid-19 fears for F1 as well...
Meanwhile, two members from the Haas F1 team and one from McLaren are now in self-isolation...after showing symptoms of Covid-19 ahead of this weekend's Australian GP in Melbourne.
The three are now waiting for their test results.
Another Malaysian books Olympic slot
It is confirmed that national cyclist Muhammad Shah Firdaus Sahrom has booked his spot at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics...alongside compatriot Azizulhasni Awang.
This means Malaysia has now 12 athletes who've qualified for the Tokyo Games so far.
