Sheffield Utd shock Man Utd at Old Trafford

Man United missed their chance to retake the lead at the top of the EPL standings after falling to a shock 2-1 defeat to bottom club Sheffield United at Old Trafford this morning.
It was only the Blades second win of the season, and their first victory at Old Trafford since 1973.

The result leaves the Red Devils second in the standings, one point adrift of Man City having played a game more than the leaders.
In other results, Thomas Tuchel picked up his first point as new Chelsea manager after the Blues were held to goalless draw by Wolves.
Everton and Leicester played out a 1-1 draw
Burnley defeated Aston Villa 3-2
While the Brighton vs Fulham tie ended goalless.

Lionel Messi scored on his return from suspension, as Barcelona came from behind to beat Rayo Vallecano 2-1 to reach the quarterfinals of the Copa Del Rey.
While Juventus defeated SPAL 4-0 to book a place in the Coppa Italia semi-finals, where they will next take on Inter Milan.
Poor start for Zii Jia

Malaysia’s Lee Zii Jia is facing an uphill task at the BWF World Tour Finals in Bangkok.
The country’s top men’s singles shuttler got off to a poor start with an opening group-stage defeat to his Taiwanese opponent yesterday.
Zii Jia must now win his next two matches, including against the top-ranked Victor Axelsen, to stand a chance of making the semi-finals.
Bottas doesn’t care about his teammate

Mercedes F1 driver Valteri Bottas says it makes no difference to him whether Lewis Hamilton extends his contract with the team, or a new teammate is brought in.
Bottas says he’s only focused on his own bid to win the driver’s championship, having finished as runner-up in the past two seasons.
