Rooney in line to become Derby boss?

Championship division club Derby could make Man United legend Wayne Rooney their next manager. 

Derby’s current boss Phillip Cocu is under fire, after they lost three of their opening 4 matches this season. 

He could be sacked IF the Rams lose this weekend’s game as well. 

If that happens, they will promote Rooney from his current role as assistant manager and player.

United's Fernandes cleared to play against Newcastle

Bruno Fernandes has reportedly been cleared to play in their EPL clash against Newcastle this weekend.

Fernandes’s Portugal teammate Cristiano Ronaldo tested positive for COVID-19 while on international duty.

However, it’s been determined that he did NOT come into close contact with Ronaldo.

F1 close to finalising 2021 calendar

F1’s CEO says the sport is close to finalizing its calendar for next year, and it will look pretty similar to schedules of previous years. 

The global COVID-19 pandemic forced F1 to call off the opening 10 events of this year’s schedule. 

It was then replaced with a 17-race revised calendar, that is mainly set in Europe.
