Roger Federer withdraws from Australian Open

Roger Federer has been ruled out from next year's Australian Tennis Open to continue recovering from his knee injury.

According to his agent, Federer says this was the best decision for him, despite making strong progress in the last few months.

Earlier this year, Federer underwent a second operation on his right knee.
