Rafa Nadal through to 3rd round of Australian Open

World No.1 Rafa Nadal is through to the third round of the Australian Tennis Open after beating Leonardo Mayer in straight sets.

Nadal, who's playing in his first Grand Slam since an injury layoff, says he is delighted to advance:

Earlier, Marin Cilic, Jo Wilfried Tsonga and Kyle Edmund also made it into round two. 

Meanwhile, in the women's event, second seed Caroline Wozniacki and 15 year old Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk made the third round, although Belinda Bencic has crashed out.
