Premiership reports two more Covid-19 cases

Two new cases of Covid-19 have been detected at two separate Premier League clubs, after the latest round of tests.

Those infected - whose identities have yet to be revealed - will now have to self-isolate.
It brings the total number of positive cases among Premiership clubs to six since the testing began, as part of measures to prepare for the planned resumption of the Premiership season.
Barca could be forced to sell
Barcelona could consider putting several members of its first-team squad on the transfer list, as it continues to feel the financial impact of the global Covid-19 pandemic.

Sources say the loss of matchday and TV rights revenue could see the Catalan side resort to the drastic action in a bid to lower its massive wage bill.
Its believed Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezzman and Gerrard Pique, are among the few whose futures at the Nou Camp are secure.
NBA in talks to return
The NBA is in talks to resume the basketball season at Florida’s Disney World Resort in late July.
Negotiations are still in the early stages, but if it happens, it will see players living, training and playing matches within the same facility… to keep them safe from Covid-19.
