Powerhouses Real Madrid and Barcelona out of Copa del Rey
Feb 07, 2020
Real Madrid have crashed out in the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey, after a 4-3 home defeat to Real Sociedad.
This was the first time the Spanish giants conceded four goals in a game under Zinedine Zidane, in what was also his 250th match in charge.
It was an unexpectedly poor defensive performance, with Real currently holding the best record in Europe's top five leagues, in terms of goals conceded.
Elsewhere, record 30-time winners Barcelona are also out, after being beaten 1-nil by Athletic Bilbao.

EPL clubs want summer transfer window aligned with rest of Europe
Premier League clubs have voted to change the summer transfer window, to bring it in line with the rest of Europe.
For the past two seasons, the window in England has closed the day before the top-flight campaign began, following complaints from clubs and managers, that keeping the window open after the start of the season was disruptive.
However, the deadline has now been changed to the usual point at the end of August/early September.
The 2020 closing date will fall on September 1st, while it's also been confirmed that the season will begin on Saturday, August 8th.

Chinese F1 GP could be postponed amid growing coronavirus threat
Formula 1 will look to reschedule the Chinese Grand Prix, if it cannot be held on its original date, because of the coronavirus outbreak.
The race is due to be held in Shanghai on April 19th, but it's now in doubt, with the disease having killed more than 560 people.
F1 organisers are insistent on having a race in the growing Chinese market, and say it will be postponed to later in the year if need be.
F1 is now waiting for Chinese authorities to make a decision on the race.
