Ole Defends De Gea

Jun 20, 2020

Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has defended David De Gea, following this morning's 1-all draw with Tottenham.

De Gea was criticised for his part in Spurs's early goal, but Solskjaer says the Spaniard redeemed himself later on.

"David is a bit disappointed but we reacted well after that one. He had a good save just 5 minutes after. When David saved that one, at least we were in the game at half time."

The result means that United remain in 5th place in the EPL table.

Arsenal have a crisis at the back ahead of tonight's clash against Brighton.

This is after Pablo Mari was ruled out for the rest of the season, after suffering an injury in their recent loss to Man City.

Fellow defender David Luiz is suspended, following his dismissal in the City game.

Catch Arsenal vs Brighton from 10pm tonight, LIVE on ASTRO SuperSport 3 channels 833 and 813 in HD.

And Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has ruled out selling N'Golo Kante this summer, saying he is a vital part of the first team.

This is after some reports said the Blues could sell the midfielder to raise funds for future transfers.
