Mercedes: No Negotiations with Vettel

May 21, 2020

The Mercedes F1 team has NOT opened contract talks with Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel.

The German driver was recently linked with Mercedes, after it was announced that he will leave the Italian outfit at the end of the year.

And the speculation intensified, after Mercedes boss Toto Wolff said Vettel's availability MUST be taken into consideration when discussing the lineup for 2021.

However, Wolff now says that the team are only focused on the contracts of current drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas, which will run out this year.

Several Watford players have decided NOT to return to training ahead of the EPL’s expected restart next month.

This includes captain Troy Deeney, who had previously voiced his concerns about training amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is after three people at the club tested positive for the coronavirus, including centre-back Adrian Mariappa.

Meranwhile, Mariappa insists he has no idea how he contracted the virus, as he hardly leaves his house, and has not shown any symptoms.

A total of 6 people throughout the EPL tested positive earlier this week.

Liverpool reportedly plan to sell up to 3 players to raise funds to sign RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.

This includes Swiss star Xherdan Shaqiri, as well as Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic.
