The Malaysian men's squad is through to the final of the Asian Team Badminton Championship...after a 3-0 win over Japan in the semis.

Lee Zii Jia, Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik and Cheam June Wei all won their respective matches...to set up a title showdown against defending champions Indonesia.

The Indonesians had it much harder in the last four...battling to a 3-2 win over India.

Meanwhile, the Malaysian women's team only made it as far as the semis...where they lost 3-nothing to Japan.

Liverpool getting closer to Premiership title

Liverpool are edging closer to the Premiership title...after Sadio Mane netted the only goal of the game to give them a 1-0 win away to Norwich.

Jurgen Klopp's side now need just five more wins from their remaining 12 matches...to guarantee their first top-flight title in 30 years.

Another Premiership match last night saw Burnley edge Southampton 2-1.

Man United hope to bring in Max Allegri as head coach

Man United are reportedly the frontrunners to bring in Max Allegri as their new head coach.

The Italian is widely expected to return to management in the summer...having left Juventus last season following a hugely succesful spell with the Serie A side.

Rumour has it current United boss Ole Gunner Solksjaer could be given the sack...if he fails to secure European football for the Red Devils next season.
