The result leaves Liverpool five points on top of second-placed Man City.
Blues Crumble
Chelsea suffered their heaviest league defeat since 1996, after falling to a surprise 4-0 loss to Bournemouth.
The match also saw new signing Gonzalo Higuain make his League debut for The Blues, although he failed to register a single shot on goal during his 65 minutes on the pitch.
The defeat sees Chelsea drop to fifth in the standings.
This, as Tottenham kept up the pace with the League's top two sides...fighting from a goal down to beat Watford 2-1.
Spurs remain in third - two points adrift of second-placed Man City.
Barca Advance
Barcelona are through to the semifinals of the Copa Del Rey - overcoming a 2-0 first leg deficit against Sevilla.
Barca won 6-1 at the Nou Camp in the second leg of their quarterfinal, to advance 6-3 on aggregate.
