Leicester move up to second in the EPL standings

Leicester City have climbed to second in the Premier League table.

This, after they beat Southampton 2-0 thanks to goals from James Maddison and Harvey Barnes.

The Foxes are now just one point behind leaders Manchester United, having played one match more.

In other results,
Chelsea grabbed a 1-0 win against Fulham
West Ham edged past Burnley 1-0
Brighton defeated Leeds also 1-0
While West Brom beat Wolves 3-2.

Liverpool vs Man United buildup

Liverpool’s Joel Matip is still a doubt for their Premier League match against Manchester United tomorrow morning.

The center back is said to be close to full fitness, but will need to be assessed before a decision is made.

Meanwhile, United are set to give late fitness tests to Anthony Martial and Nemanja Matic to see if they’ll be available.

The Red Devils head into the match as league leaders, three points ahead of third-placed Liverpool.

United move for Rice

Manchester United have reportedly joined Chelsea in the race to sign Declan Rice.

The West Ham midfielder is said to be among the options for United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s overhaul for next season.

The Hammers are said to be hoping for a 70 million pound fee for the 22-year-old.

Malaysian pair make Thailand final

Malaysia’s Goh V Shem and Tan Wee Kiong have made the men’s doubles final at the Thailand Badminton Open.

This, after they defeated their Indonesian opponents in straight sets.

V Shem and Wee Kiong - who are the country’s only representatives left in the tournament - will take on world number seven pair Lee Yang-Wang Chi Lin for the title today.
