Klopp: Liverpool will not prioritise EPL title over Champions League

Feb 04, 2019

Liverpool will not be prioritising the Premier League title over the Champions League.

Boss Jürgen Klopp says both competitions will be given equal attention, despite calls for the Reds to focus on the domestic title, which they've not won in 29 years.

Klopp has also denied that his side are cracking under the pressure of winning the Premier League, saying he's confident they have what it takes to go all the way.

Liverpool currently hold a two-point lead at the top of the table, and could extend that gap when they take on West Ham tomorrow morning.

Manuel Pellegrini calls for 'good performance' against Liverpool

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini says he'd like to do his old club Man City a favour tomorrow morning, when his side host Premier League leaders Liverpool.

City are trailing The Reds by two points in the table, and are hoping to beat them to the title, just as they did under Pellegrini in 2014.

Pellegrini, however, insists his main priority is to get The Hammers' season back on track, after three straight defeats in all competitions.

Patriots win Super Bowl LIII

The New England Patriots have won the Super Bowl for a record-equalling sixth time, beating the LA Rams 13-3 in the NFL's showpiece event.

It's also the sixth title for veteran New England quarterback Tom Brady - more than any other player in the sport's history.
